The company does not collect unnecessary information about customers, nor does it provide it to third parties.

Terms and conditions:

In all ATV tours organized by Wild West Rocky, participants are at their own risk. All participants undertake to follow the guide's instructions at all time. In this way, the risk of any kind of accidents and/or damage can be minimized. Customers are liable for damages resulting from negligence on their part both to Wild West Rocky and to third parties. Wild West Rocky reserves the right to postpone or cancel pre-scheduled tours due to inclement weather or other uncontrollable circumstances that could endanger customers or staff. Wild West Rocky cannot be held responsible for property damage, lost belongings, accidents, illness or other factors arising from weather or other natural disasters beyond Wild West Rocky's control. The same applies to external factors such as strikes, delays and changes in public transport schedules, e.g. flights. Please read the cancellation policy below.

Please note that participants in trips organized by Wild West Rocky are asked to assess their health and make sure that they are physically and mentally fit for the trip. This is refers especially to people who suffer from back pain and/or pregnant women.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be received in writing to [email protected]. If cancellation is received with at least 48 hours notice before the departure of the trip, you get a 90% refund for the trip. If the cancellation is received within 48 hours before departure, the trip will not be refunded.

Alcohol and drugs

Wild West Rocky reserves the right to refuse participants on a trip if they appear to be under the influence of alcohol or other drugs. Under those circumstances, the trip will not be refunded. The same applies to indecent and unacceptable behavior that could threaten the life or health of other participants or staff.

Clothing and personal belongings

Participants are advised to wear appropriate clothing and especially suitable shoes. Wild West Rocky provides participants with protective overalls, gloves and helmets for trips, but not shoes. Participants are fully responsible for their personal clothing and belongings, e.g. phones and cameras. Wild West Rocky is not responsible for any damage that may occur to participants' personal clothing and belongings.

Maximum weight

The maximum weight allowed on each quad bike is 180 kg. If the combined total weight of the driver and passenger is greater than 180 kg. then it is necessary to book two ATVs.

Location

Wild West Rocky is located at Hafnarstræti 24, 470 Þingeyri. Customers are responsible for arriving 20 minutes prior to departure. If the customer does not arrive within 30 minutes of the announced departure time, Wild West Rocky reserves the right to cancel the trip without refund. However, we encourage everyone to contact us as soon as possible at [email protected] or phone 777 6010 if a delay is foreseen.

Valid driver's license

All those intending to be ATV drivers on a Wild West Rocky tour must have and be able to present a valid driver's license. Those who are only going to be passengers on a four-wheeler do not need to have a driver's license. Prior to departure, participants sign a consent form stating that they are physically and mentally fit to participate in a Wild West Rocky tour and that ATV drivers have a valid driver's license.

Lunch

On longer trips, participants are advised to bring a light lunch or snack for lunch breaks along the way.

Customized tours

In trips that are tailored specifically to the wishes of customers, a confirmation fee of 50% of the trip cost must be paid at the time of booking. Full payment must be received no later than four weeks before the scheduled trip.

Travel insurance

We especially recommend that participants have valid travel insurance.

Refund

Wild West Rocky is not responsible for currency exchange rates. Reimbursement of a trip is based on the exchange rate of the day the trip is reimbursed, not the day it was originally booked and paid for.

Unfulfilled assumptions

If the customer does not consider his trip to be in accordance with expectations, according to provided descriptions, and thereby considers the conditions of his experience unfulfilled and thinks of filing a complaint against Wild West Rocky, it must be received no later than a week after the trip.

Risk assessment

Participants in ATV tours organized by Wild West Rocky are at their own risk. Before departure, participants sign a declaration of consent stating that they have read and accept the above terms and are aware of the risks of the trip and their responsibility.
